I am extremely
pleased to offer this beautiful kid for the 2009 REDGA doeling silent
auction. Zahara is the result of a proven cross – one which was
planned as soon as I saw her ¾ sisters last year. Eiro daughters bred
to Esencio have already produced several outstanding offspring. One such
doe, Ranea Esencio Yusheng, was JCH at the 2008 REDGA show and recently
freshened as a yearling with a beautiful mammary. Another Eiro/Esencio
product from a different dam line, Ranea Esencio Xiao Qing, recently won
GCH at Lakeport – as a milking yearling! Zahara herself is a very long
and stylish doeling, and exhibits a beautiful topline, great feet &
legs and a really correct and balanced front end, along with sharp
withers, silky and pliable skin, and flat, open ribbing.
Zahara’s dam, Zi
Zhi, is an exciting young doe with an outstanding personality. She
attended only two shows last year as a dry yearling, winning JCH at the
CA State Fair youth show and RJCH in some very stiff competition
at the Fuzzy Goat Show in Placerville. Zi Zhi exhibits beautiful General
Appearance with a lovely level topline, along with a smoothly blended
front end and tremendously correct feet and legs – not always easy to
find in a Saanen! She freshened this year with a beautiful mammary – I
especially love her smoothness and extension of fore udder, as well as
her overall strength of attachment and near-ideal teat placement.
Zahara’s sire,
Esencio, has been producing udders with great area of attachment and
“perfect” teat placement. His dam, SGCH des-Ruhigestelle Essencia
10*M, is a daughter of +*B SG Companeros Jude and finished her
championship as a 2-year-old. Essencia was also 5th place
3-year-old at the 2007 National Show and Linear Appraised 93 (EEEE) at 4
years old. In addition, Esencio’s twin sister eXula has been JCH 5
times and BJDIS twice, out of 5 shows.
Zahara will charm
you with her beautiful looks and endearing personality. One of our most
stylish kids this year, Zahara is only being allowed to leave because
her twin sister is staying in the herd. She has inherited her dam’s
stunning profile and sweet nature, as well as her dam’s love of being
loved and an irresistible “Look at me!” attitude. Normally a bouncy
thing, Zahara stood rock still as soon as the camera came out – this
baby is a ham! Let her charm her way into your herd…you won’t be
disappointed.
